Keith Kintrea - BA (Hons), MPhil, MCIH
Keith Kintrea's interests in neighbourhood research, centre on the interrelationships between housing processes, neighbourhood change, and life chances, particularly with respect to deprived social housing estates. Recent research includes evaluations of regeneration projects and housing development initiatives, community based housing organisations and resident participation, and the impact of owner occupiers in deprived areas. Lately, Keith has been examining whether the predominately US-inspired hypotheses on 'neighbourhood effects' have relevance in the UK context by a comparative study of deprived and non-deprived areas.
